1. The Marketplace

Fresh Neighbors provides a platform to connect local growers with neighbors. We do not own, grow, inspect, or sell any produce listed by users. Quality, safety, legality, pickup terms, and accurate descriptions are the responsibility of the individual grower.

2. Grower Obligations

Growers agree to provide accurate descriptions, prices, pickup details, product images, and growing or preparation practices. Growers are responsible for following all applicable food, cottage food, labeling, consumer protection, tax, zoning, and local sale laws in their jurisdiction.

3. Conduct

Our community is built on trust. Users may not post inappropriate, misleading, stolen, unsafe, illegal, or deceptive images or content. Users may not scam, harass, threaten, impersonate others, misrepresent products, repeatedly miss pickups, take payment without intending to fulfill, or otherwise use the platform in a way that harms neighbors or growers.

4. Moderation, Suspension, and Removal

We may review, reject, hide, remove, suspend, block, or permanently terminate any account, grower profile, listing, event, image, message, or other content at our discretion, with or without prior notice, when we believe it violates these Terms, creates safety or fraud risk, harms the community, exposes Fresh Neighbors to legal or reputational risk, or is otherwise inappropriate for the platform.

Suspended or blocked users may lose access to public profile visibility, listing creation, event submission, reservations, messaging, and other platform features. We may preserve moderation notes and account records as needed for fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, and platform safety.

5. Payments & Fees

Produce reservations are informational only. Unless expressly stated otherwise, produce payment is settled directly between buyer and grower at pickup, outside Fresh Neighbors. We do not process, hold, guarantee, escrow, refund, or reverse produce payments between users.

Paid event advertising is processed through our payment partner. Event advertising fees help maintain the platform, review submitted events, and keep everyday marketplace access low-cost for neighbors and small growers.

6. No Guarantee

Fresh Neighbors does not guarantee that any user, grower, listing, event, pickup, or transaction will be accurate, safe, lawful, available, or completed. Users are responsible for using judgment, following local law, and resolving direct pickup or payment disputes with the other party.
